    Paint your pet night

    To celebrate my first day of winter break, I went to “Paint your pet night” at the Taubman Museum. It was a lot of fun. I signed up earlier this month on a whim. Pheebs is 18. While I have a ton of digital pictures, I thought it would be nice to have a piece of art featuring her highness. Other than a few paint-by-numbers in my youth, I have very limited painting experience, so I was hesitant that my painting would be recognizable.     My 2018 New Year’s Resolutions

    I’m not one to make New Year’s resolutions. I think most of us know that they are usually an exercise in futility. However, this year I am making my 2018 Action Plan. I feel these are all realistic goals.     A gaudy, gaudy Christmas

    I occasionally get the urge to be crafty. This is usually unfortunate as my crafting skills are mediocre at best. The urge struck this week, and I headed to the local craft store wanting to make some jewelry. I didn’t see anything I wanted though until inspiration struck. I had been planning on getting a fresh Christmas wreath for our front door. The craft store had some items on sale that I thought I could use to decorate a wreath.
