    What I’m Loving Lately: February 2018

    I cannot believe that we are already over halfway through February. I don’t particularly enjoy the weather of February and March. They are too unpredictable¬†and usually too windy for my taste. I don’t want to wish the year away, but I am ready for spring. I’ve got a lot going on right now. I recently started a part-time job on the weekends, I’m volunteering, I signed up for two online classes for recertification, and I might possibly have just committed to an additional online temporary job. All that on top of my full-time teaching job.¬†Apparently, I want a little stress in my life. Oh well, six more weeks until spring…

    Sticking to your New Year’s Resolutions

    Sticking to New Year’s Resolutions is usually something that is very hard for people. We make lofty goals like “lose 20 pounds”, but we don’t make a plan for how we are going to get there. I believe that you need to pair goals with actions in order to be successful, and that is what I did back in December. Have I been completely successful?     This past weekend we went to the International Wine Festival at the Taubman Museum. Mr. LLA had never been to a wine festival before, so I thought I would share some reasons to attend one if you get a chance.
